Hendricken Invitational Boys' 110m HH
It seems every week we have this event on our list. That's because the competition is so close. Ready to answer the starter's gun are two teammates who are familiar with neck-and-neck finishes, Hendricken's Joseph Rivera Santos and Ethan Famiano. Last week, the Hawks' standouts clocked the state fastest times with both crossing the line in 14.5, a race that Rivera Santos won. The talented duo also went 1-2 at the Classical Classic where they again finished together with identical times of 14.6. Will we see another down-to-the-wire affair or can a few others sneak into that top spot, most notably, East Greenwich's Connor Sheridan (14.9), another hurdler who has broken 15 seconds this season. Also in the field are South Kingstown's Eric Fay-Wolfe (15.2), North Kingstown's Cameron Allen (15.3) and Barrington's Josh Roy (15.4).
