Quick Recap Of Class Championships

 Class A Girls

La Salle's Grace Connolly has been one of our state's top runners this season and next week will try and become the Rams' first state champion since Molly Keating won her third straight in 2011. She looked strong and relaxed in taking her first class title with a gun-to-wire victory. She was timed in 18:40, 14 seconds ahead of teammate Emily Kane. Cranston East's Shayna Cousineau, a winner at the Bronco Invitational nine days earlier, was third in 19:04. The Rams won their fourth straight team crown with a 31-54 win over runner-up North Kingstown. Cumberland, which held out a few of its harriers to prepare for next week's states, was third with 93 points.
