No. 8 - Djero captures 100m, 200m at Class A meet

Donatien Djero, a young and promising sprinter from Central, first made his mark during the indoor season when he captured the 55-meter dash and the 300m at the state meet. The Knights' gifted tenth-grader continued to impress in the short sprints on the outdoor surface where he won the 100m and anchored a pair of victorious 4x100m and 4x400m relay squads at the state meet..

What we consider his best this season occurred two weeks earlier at the Class A meet where Djero sizzled the 100m in a fast, hand-held time of 10.5. He also was first in the 200m at 22.0 and anchored the winning 4x100m squad (43.20).
