Bobby Colantonio, junior, Barrington
Bobby has a chance to earn gold in the 25-pound weight. As
mentioned earlier, he should be the toughest competitor for defending national
champion and teammate Adam Kelly. He achieved his best at the season-opening
Injury Fund Carnival with a 76-9 effort. Bobby was fourth at the state meet
last year and was a runner-up to Kelly at the New England Weight Throw
Championship where he cracked 70 feet for the first time with a distance of
70-2. Bobby is coming off a very successful outdoor season where he captured
his first individual title by taking the hammer throw.
