Lee Moses, senior, Bishop Hendricken
Lee has captured three of the last four titles in the long
jump and there’s no reason to believe that he won’t do it again this winter.
The Hawk standout, who won the last two indoor crowns, has a best of 23-0.25,
nearly two feet further than East Providence’s Trystan Casey, who is No. 2 on
the list. More than likely, Lee has set bigger goals for this season besides
winning a third straight state title. He was second at the New England’s last
year and 12th overall at the New Balance Nationals. The focus would
seem to be on a NE title and a podium finish at the nationals in March.
