Indoor Track: Five Boys To Watch In Field Events

Adam Kelley, senior, Barrington

There wasn’t much that Adam couldn't do inside the circle last year. He was undefeated in the 25-pound weight and capped off his season by winning the state, New England and national titles in his specialty. It’s only a matter of time before Adam finally cracks the 80-foot plateau. He had his best at the New Balance Nationals where he won his individual title with a toss of 77-9.25. Just a few days ago in a dual meet with Central and Hope, Adam showed mid-season form by taking the weight with a near PB of 77-8. The Eagle star’s biggest competition will come from his teammate, junior Bobby Colantonio, who beat Kelly at the Injury Fund Carnival.
