What Are The Events To Watch At States?

Boys' 3,000m

Could this a repeat of the Class A meet or will there be more company in the race's closing stages? This event features our 1-2 finishers from the class championships, La Salle's Max DiMuccio and Hendricken's Jack McMahon. DiMuccio got the best of his rival at that meet, but not by much. He won by barely a few strides with his time of 8:45.07 to McMahon's 8:45.40. The talented tandem should be at it again this weekend, especially considering that both are focused on scoring some high points for their teams in the  quest for a title. St. Raphael's Reilly Johnston could figure in the mix. There will be a host of Hendricken runners - Sean Meehan (9:04.01), Dylan Manning (9:07.14) and Ryan Mallozzi (9:07.15) - that will be eyeing those key top-six positions, too.
