If the race is right, Matt has potential to win Sunday's race. The La Salle senior finished second to teammate DJ Principe at the Class A meet where he was timed in 15:28. Matt was also second to DJ at the Bowdoin X-C Classic (NY) and Injury Fund Carnival earlier in the season, too. The soon-to-be Georgetown runner has won two state titles for 3K (indoor and outdoor) and always performs well in championship-style meets. He'll more than likely share the front-running duties with DJ on Sunday. If the two runners are still together the final 800m, Matt has the ability to pull off the victory.
