DOMINIC PARLATO
Bishop Hendricken has a good chance to win this week's state meet and Dominic could lead the way. The Hawk runner finished fourth at the class meet this past Saturday, just edging out La Salle's Jack Salisbury at the line. His time of 15:51.40 was a best on Ponaganset's 5K course. Dominic won his race in the season-opening Injury Fund Carnival and was fourth overall at the Manchester Invitational, a meet the Hawks won. Last year, Dominic had a breakthrough race by taking fifth overall. After the class meet, Hendricken head coach Jim Doyle stated he knows his star harrier can run faster. He might have to have his best effort for the Hawks to dethrone last year's champion, La Salle Academy.
