It was a GREAT weekend for Rhode Islanders at New Balance Nationals!

Bright and early on Sunday morning, La Salle Academy won a thriller over second-place Tolland High of Connecticut to win the 4xMile relay with a time of 20 minutes, 14.01 seconds. The Rams capped off a great year in the event, earning the school's first national title in the 4xMile at the indoor nationals.

In Sunday's race, junior Karina Tavares put the Rams right into the mix with a solid 5:02 opening leg.
