Berkson has a banner day at the Garden

Maddy Berkson was recently honored with an invitation to the U.S. Open Indoor track meet at Madison Square Garden in New York.  The Classical High School sophomore took full advantage of the tremendous opportunity and posted one of the fastest mile times in New England. 

Berkson finished 6^th among a handpicked field of elite athletes from the East Coast, and her 5:02.77 clocking demonstrated that she will be a contender for a state and regional title in the event.
