Cameron Coggeshall (Chariho Regional) ran 16:07.49 in the boys' 5000 meters at the 8th CT Distance Festival on May 8, improving from his previous best of 17:32.57. The sophomore's time ranks #5 in the state and #2 among underclassmen, and he placed 27th of 55 competitors.
Sienna Adams (Portsmouth) clocked 4:50.50 in the girls' 1500 meters at the Sgt. Brian St. Germain Invitational on May 9, dropping from her previous mark of 5:12.05. The freshman's time moves her to #6 in Rhode Island and #2 among first-year athletes, and she finished 4th of 34 runners.
Lorelai Sacco (Westerly) threw 166-3 in the girls' hammer throw at the Sgt. Brian St. Germain Invitational on May 9, bettering her previous best of 152-11 from May 2026. The senior's mark sets a Westerly High School record and ranks #7 in the state, and she placed 5th of 29 competitors.
