Five Bold (and not so Bold) Predictions For States

HAVEN'T WE SEEN THIS BEFORE?

In last year's meet, the boys' 600m was the most exciting race of the meet with three runners still in contention until the final few meters. Hendricken's Harry Antone was able to pull out the victory, edging defending champion Mars Bishop of Barrington and Hawk teammate Nick Williams, at the line. He finished with a PR of 1:23.43, a mere tenth of a second separated the three competitors. We're not predicting the winner, but we think history will repeat itself on Saturday and this race will not be decided until that last straightaway. Who are the competitors that will be involved? The Hawks' Antone will be in the mix. We also think North Providence's Nathan Coogan and North Kingstown's Sam Toolin will be battling for individual supremacy those final few meters.
