Eliza Rego, La Salle Academy
This senior will close out a storied career for the Rams this weekend where she has dominated the distance events, particularly the last two years. Rego will be looking to score multiple points for the Rams in their quest for another state title. The Harvard commit ran a season best in the 1,500m this past Saturday at the Mount Pleasant Invitational where she finished at 4:34.80. Her top competition is a vastly-improved Randi Burr of Westerly, who has a 4:38 to her credit. Rego also has the fastest time in the 800m at 2:15.8 and can run a leg on the 4x800m and/or 4x400m relays, both squads that rank among the top three.
