Can La Salle win two relays this weekend? It could happen. In addition to the boys' team, the Lady Rams have a chance to earn gold in the 4 x Mile relay, too. Like their counterpart, the La Salle girls are the No. 1 team in the field with the quartet of junior Eliza Rego, senior Sheridan Wilbur, junior Karina Tavares and junior Audrey O'Neil. Eliza, the likely anchor, did 4:52 at the New England meet. Sheridan has also dipped under five minutes with a 4:56.50 effort. Karina has done 5:02 and Audrey has a best of 4:55 for 1,500m. Based on those times, this team is capable of running in the low 20-minute range. In last year's event, defending champion Blacksburg (Va.) won with a time of 20:28. With two runners capable of running in mid 4:50 range, the Virginia squad will probably be the Rams' biggest challenge.
