Once again it was another special track & field season here in the Ocean State. In all, 13 state records (boys and girls) were set this spring. We also had 14 All-Americans and two individual champions from the New Balance Nationals, a sweep of the sprinting events by one talented runner at the State Meet, which was a meet that simply lived up to its hype, producing one of the most memorable championships we've seen over the last few decades.
