Three 'Ws' for Stern at States
After a successful indoor season where she established state marks for 300m and 400m, Classical's May Stern continued her dominance on the outdoor surface where she set another 400m record. The Brown University-bound Stern couldn't have ended her final State Meet as a high-schooler any better. At the June 4 meet, Stern swept the sprint events, winning the 100m, 200m and 400m. Her individual effort lifted Classical to a fourth-place finish out of 25 schools.
