Meet Entries
1. This meet is 1-1-1. That applies for your entries as well. You cannot enter in two individual events and then scratch day of.
2. The infield turf will be closed all day with the exception of check-ins and athletes warming up for their upcoming event. This will not be a place for teams to camp out, watch races, or linger.
3. Implement weigh-in's will take place from 8:45-10:00 AM at the green building on the right of the service road.
4. Weigh in's for the pole vault will take place at the vault.
5. We will have a coaches meeting at the green pavilion before the meet begins at 10:00 AM
6. Scratches will end at 10:00 AM
7. Teams can camp out pretty much anywhere with the exception of the turf and the bleachers at the finish line. There is space in the large main bleachers, grass surrounding the oval and across the service road in between the hammer and discus.
8. Buses will drop off by the HAWK COUNTRY gate. Buses will then be sent to the close parking lot at Big Lots.
9. When the entries come out, sometimes we have seen freshmen and sophomores get kicked back to the age group freshman and sophomore 1500's. I understand many of you want your top-level athletes in the varsity 1500. If that is the case, we can move them only with their seed time you provided. The Freshman and Sophomore 1500's ARE counted as state meet qualifiers.
10. Please read through the rules with the fresh/soph events at the beginning. Those athletes are not eligible for anything later on in the day.
11. The order for the FR/SO SMR is 400-200-200-800.
12. There will be a trainer available. Look for his golf cart.
13. Triple Jump will follow the long jump and they will be using the 32'- and 36'-foot boards only.
14. Opening height for the HJ is 5'6" and the PV is 9' 6".
15. The order of events is attached. Please note the difference from our usual meet order.
16. In the event of a rain, we may delay the meet or our rain date is Sunday.
17. Admission to the Hendricken Invitational is $5.00 (cash only).
18. Javelin is a grass runway.
19. Checks can be made payable to BISHOP HENDRICKEN, $175 max team entry or $20 per athlete.
