This could be set this year, but we're thinking it might happen in 2019. Again, it's Merrill we think we'll do it. In one of the few times she ran the 3K this year, the Patriot runner clocked a PB of 10:02 at the State Meet. She did that in dominating fashion, running the last half of the race virtually on her own. We think it might take next year until this mark goes down for the sole reason is she will more than likely not have too many chances to challenge the mark this season because of the limited times she will probably un it.
