Staples' Hannah DeBlasi is the clear-cut favorite in Friday's race. She was third for two miles at Arcadia in early April where she was third overall with a season best of 10:15. La Salle senior Eliza Rego is the best chance for R.I. to get a podium placement. She's done 10:33 for two miles and last year clocked 10:28 at Loucks. She is capable of doing a low to mid 10:20 if things are clicking. She'll be joined on the line by three more of her teammates - Karina Taveres (10:05, 3K), Grace Connolly (10:17.87, 3K) and Emily Kane (10:12.15, 3K).
