Who's going to Penn Relays this weekend?

Cumberland's Sean Laverty (12) en route to his 4:13 mile at last month's New Balance Nationals. He's entered in the mile this weekend with hopes of running a time close to 4:10.

Cumberland's Sean Laverty is a No. 7 seed in the mile. Laverty clocked a big-time personal best of 4:13 at the indoor nationals and will be looking for a time near 4:10, possibly even faster. The other individual competing from the Ocean State is junior CJ Berg, who will toe the line in the 3,000m. During the indoor season, Berg placed third (8:43) in the 3K at the states. He was also tenth in the 5K at the nationals where he ran 15:10. He'll be eyeing a time in the 8:30 range.

Bishop Hendricken, Central and Hope will also be represented by relays squads.
