Complete List of Entries
The last big invitational before the upcoming class and state meets takes place this Saturday when schools throughout the region head to Goddard State Park in Warwick, R.I., for the annual Brown University Northeast HS Invitational.
This is a meet that has had its share of top-level talent, including a young high school runner by the name of Edward Cheserek of St. Benedict Prep in N.J., who made a name for himself in 2011 by covering the five-kilometer course in a record time of 15 minutes, 0.80 seconds. Of course, we all know what happened after that. Cheserek went on to win numerous national titles as a high schooler and has continued that success at the University of Oregon.
MileSplit RI will be on site for the great event and will provide photos, videos, stories and LIVE results!!!
