Don't forget, it's less than a week until the annual Blackstone Valley Invitational at the Cumberland Monastery. This year's meet will be on Friday afternoon at the Cumberland Monastery. It will feature JV and Varsity races and is open to every school in the state, not just those in the Blackstone Valley area.
Registration for this event is done through MileSplit RI. Just click here. For instructions on registering with this new system, click here. The deadline is Wednesday night. The cost is just $35 per team (per gender) and $60 if entering a boys' and girls' squad. If you plan to attend and have not registered yet, please do as soon as possible so that we can get a general head count on who will be attending.
Attractive medals from Mark Mercurio and Go East Promotions will be awarded to the top finishers. Trophies will also be given to the top open and Blackstone Valley area teams.
