It's Shaping Up To Be A Great Season In MA

Talented Tenth-Grader

In two short years of track & field, Wellesley's Abby Comella has already established herself as one of our leading runners in events ranging from the 300m to 600m. This past indoor season, she was our individual champion for 600m where she clocked a best of 1:33.95. The gifted sophomore has a good chance to win her second individual state title in early June in the 400m. This past Saturday, Comella moved to the top of the state rankings in her specialty by capturing the event at the Loucks Games in a time of 55.65. Right now, that time is nearly two seconds faster than her closest rival. Her time also is No. 18 among all tenth-graders in the country!
