Meet Information
The Games Committee for the State Meet is finalizing the last few details for the order of events. It is not completed at this point. I just wanted to get the schedule out to you to help with your entries.
Track - 1:00 start- Girls will be first followed by boys (except in the HH and dash). Championship meet order will be followed.
Field - 12:00 Boys and girls long jump will be contested simultaneously on adjacent runways. Triple jump to follow long jump
- 12:00 Boys Pole Vault, followed by girls
- 12:00 Girls high jump , followed by boys
-12:00 Girls Discus (in cage on track infield)
- 1:30 Girls Shot Put (outside of track)
- 3:00 Girls Javelin (behind HS)
- 4:00 Girls Hammer (behind HS)
Implement Check in -11:00-12:00 at shed on track)
-12:00 Boys Hammer (behind HS)
-12:00 Boys Javelin (behind HS)
- 2:00 Boys Discus (behind HS)
- 4:00 Boys Shot Put (outside of track)
Also, Parking should proceed in the following order-
1. Fill Pier MS Parking ( this will give buses a chance to drop off athletes and coaches)
2. Narragansett HS
3.Narr. Elementary School - 55 Mumford Rd. Narragansett
4. West Lot at the Beach -40 Boston Neck Rd , Narragansett ( seeking permission to use - will let you know by Thursday - good place for buses and drivers to hang out). Hope this helps.
