Randolph Ross (Garner) ran a 1:05.72 at a Polar Bear meet earlier this season, and had a challenge in Khaleb McRae (Southern Durham) who ran 1:04.35 at a Polar Bear and 1:05.80 at an Indoor Meet this fall. Ross, McRae and Anthony Morgan (Grimsley) put on a show posting the fastest three times in the nation so far this year. Ross took the win over the former US#1 holder in McRae, becoming the first boy to break 1:05 this indoor season. Ross clocked 1:04.97 with McRae at 1:05.43 and Morgan at 1:06.13. Ross and McRae's times will stand at NC#14 and NC#21 All-Time Indoors early into the indoor season.
