Class B Girls' 1,500m
This race includes two runners that are not afraid to take the pace out hard and focus on a fast time - Portsmouth's Nikki Merrill and Westerly's Randi Burr. These are the two runners we feel are the favorites in this event with a slight nod going Merrill's way, who has been undefeated against Burr on the track this season in head-to-head match-ups, including the Rick Schomp Invitational where she ran 4:39.60 to Burr's 4:42.10 effort.
