MileSplit RI's Most Memorable Moments Of 2016

The indoor state meet (Feb. 20) always has its share of memorable moments. One in particular that stood out involved May Stern.  The Classical all-stater won the 300m and finished second in the 55m dash. But as the saying goes, she saved her best for last. Trailing Hope's Isis Hack by at least 50 meters when she got the baton for her anchor leg in the 4x400m relay, Stern powered past Hack with 30 meters left to spur her team to victory with the state's best time of 4:07.79. Stern's split, an amazing 54.7!
