"Yo" Raymond Memorial 5K
Finally, but certainly not least, there's the "Yo Raymond Memorial 5K on Aug. 27 in Cumberland. If you're into a fair and scenic course, then this is your race. The race begins and ends at Camp Ker Anna, situated alongside the beautiful Cumberland Reservoir. The entry fee is inexpensive and includes an attractive Tech T-Shirt and ticket for post-race raffle. There's also awards for the top finishers in several age categories. For high-schoolers, who want to get a solid tempo run in before their first X-C meet of the season, it's ONLY $15!
