Grinding It Out
Sometimes it's not quite as easy as the other ones. While Classical senior May Stern has made it look like a walk in the park in most of her 400-meter races, this one didn't quite look that way. Stern was digging hard the final straightaway and clearly had the look of pain on her face the final 50m of the race. But just like the others ones this season, the end result was the same. Stern won the her second New England title on Saturday by breaking the tape in 56.66.
