Entries: This is a NFHS sanctioned meet. No schools that are not part of their state association will be
allowed to participate.
Due to NHSF sanctioning rules, rosters and initial entries must be received by September 24,
2017. Any entries received after September 24 will be rejected without exception. Changes or
adjustments to your initial entries may be made until Wednesday, October 11 at midnight by
emailing David Wilbur at davidwilbur@charter.net (not on Direct Athletics). Initial Entries must
be made on directathletics.com.
Entry Process: Entries done on Direct Athletics Website: www.directathletics.com
1 Each school must have a user name and password you create. If you already have a Direct Athletics account for
your team/school, you do not need to create a new one. There is no fee to create a school account. After creating an
account sign in and search Brown. Our meet should come up in your search results. We do not expressly invite
schools on Direct Athletics but you should have no problem registering for the meet.
2 Contact information: The coach must be listed as the contact. Please do not list the school Athletic Assistant or
Secretary, as this will delay the process if an issue arises or last minute information is needed. Information should
include current e-mail and phone number(s), the number should be one where we can contact the coach directly if
needed since most meets occur on weekends.
3 Rosters may be updated as the season goes along. This will make the entry process go smoother at the deadline
time.
4 Once your entries are completed you should print out a copy of your entries and check for accuracy. You can
make updates and will be able to edit changes up to the deadline. Entry deadline is Monday, September 24, 2017 at
11:59pm. Make sure you hit the submit button for the actual entry to be made, simply printing out your entry does
not mean it is done.
5 When entering athletes keep this in mind, an athlete can be listed in only 1 XC race but you may make lineup
changes up to and including race day. We do not need to be notified of any changes; we simply track bib numbers.

how many you want in each race. For example, all 7 athletes in the varsity race or 3 athletes in the
championship race and 4 in the varsity.
