Salute to Seniors: Kasey Thomas (Easton)

Today, we salute Kasey Thomas of Easton Area.

Thomas had a strong career in the throws for the Rovers. She had a terrific senior campaign in particular. During this past indoor season, she placed eighth at the state meet in the shot put with an indoor PR of 41-3.25, earning a state medal.

She kept the momentum rolling into outdoors in the shot, where she tossed a best of 42-9.75 at the District 11 Championships. A week later at the PIAA State Championships, Thomas placed fifth in Class AAA with a put of 42-8. She also threw a PR of 113-0 in the discus this past spring.

Thomas, a Bryant University recruit, reflected on her career for PennTrackXC.

Throughout the end of June and through July we we be honoring our graduating seniors. To submit your own questionnaire to be posted on the front page of PennTrackXC, check out this page and email your responses to Dan Beck (daniel.beck@flosports.tv).
