Caitlyn Bobb Wins 400 At Carifta Games!


Harford Technical sophomore Caitlyn Bobb traveled to the Cayman Islands this weekend to represent the island country of Bermuda as a dual citizen of Bermuda as well as the United States.

Coming off a recent breakthrough victory at the Bullis Bulldog Invitational in which she won with a US No. 3 performance of 53.72, Bobb took it up a notch on an even bigger state racing against the top youth stars in the entire Caribbean. After being the top qualifier in the preliminary round of the U17 women's 400 with a 54.39, Bobb was victorious in the finals running a new personal best time of 53.69.

She will return back to the states and racing for her high school team the rest of this spring which includes attempting to defend her state titles in 2A for the 400 and 200 meter dash at the Maryland State Championships next month.
