VOTE For The Top Performance Of The Week!

Rhode Island athletes were at two different meets this past weekend. A good portion of the state was at Conley Stadium for the Classical Classic. In Philadelphia, La Salle Academy and Bishop Hendricken made the trip to the prestigious Penn Relays Carnival. We had several outstanding efforts by our Ocean Staters ar both sites. Central's Donataien Djero (100m, 200m) and La Salle's Emily Kane (1,500m, 800m) were impressive double-winners at the Classical Classic. Also at the meet, Ponaganset's Gianna Rao tossed a season best of 176-5 in the hammer and East Greenwich swept the top five placements in the 800m. At Penn, state best were achieved by La Salle in the DMR (10:17.25) and Hendricken clocked No. 1s for the 4x800m (7:59.55) and the 4x400m (3:25.85). Now we want your vote. What performance do you feel stood out from the rest? Check out our list below and place your vote. Voting ends on Saturday at midnight.

***With 105 points, East Greenwich's Connor Sheridan was our No. 1 vote-getter in last week's poll. Sheridan was selected for his first-place effort in the decathlon at the New York Relays.
