To no one's surprise, DJ Principe was never seriously challenged in this race, leading from gun-to-wire. He hit his opening mile at 4:47 and then shifted into cruise control the remainder of the way. Finishing second and third were a pair of underclassmen, North Kingstown sophomore Sam Toolin (second, 16:05) and La Salle freshman Max DiMuccio (third,16:11).. The Rams solidified their status as a favorite for next week's team title, placing all five of their scoring runners among the first 12 placements to defeat second-place Bishop Hendricken, 27-59.
