A handful of PA teams will run through Six Flags in New Jersey while Unionville will challenge themselves against the seven time defending national champions Fayetteville-Manlius of New York at the McQuaid Invitational. By his own estimation, former Brown University track and cross-country head coach Bob Rothenberg has organized about 200 invitational meets and road races the last few decades. His reputation for putting on a quality event is second to none.
"That's the deepest field they've had there in a long time, so to take second place is an accomplishment," said Feehan coach Bob L'Homme. "All the girls ran pretty good, but what can you say about Abbie? That meet record had been around for a while and she just crushed it."
