Here's a few dates for some important meets for the upcoming cross-country season.
The meet schedule begins on Sept. 9 with the Vineyard X-C Invitational at Oaks Bluff. On Sept. 16 in Tewksbury is the annual Bob MacDougal 3K Invitational. One of the east coast's top regional meets will be held the weekend of Sept. 22-23 at Goddard State Memorial Park with the annual Ocean State Invitational in Warwick, R.I. Also that weekend are the Amherst X-C Invitational (Sept. 23) and the Ted Dutkiewicz (Sept. 23) at East Longmeadow.
Seven days later is the Wachusett Invitational (Sept. 30) and the Frank Kelly Invitational (Sept. 30) at the Wrentham Devlopmental Center, a popular destination for a number of meets this fall. On Oct. 14 , the Bay State Invitational (high school and middle school) will be held at Wrentham. The Catholic Memorial Invitational at Franklin Park will also take place on Oct. 14. At Goodard Park, is another top regional competition with the Brown Northeast Invitational.
At the Barnstable Fairgrounds in Falmouth on Oct. 21 is the Bob McIntryre Twilight X-C Invitational. Wrentham wlll be the site for the Frank Mooney Coaches Invitational on Nov. 4 and the MIAA All State Meet on Nov. 18. The Divisional Meets, held at various locations, will take place on Nov. 11.
