Isaiah Cunningham Earns Thrilling 100m Brooks PR Win

From start to finish, the boys 100m dash at Brooks PR was an exercise in technical skill.

On Saturday, Rancho Verde (Ca.) High graduate and Baylor signee Isaiah Cunningham was not the first out of the blocks -- that was Miramar's Terrence Horne, who had an incredible reaction time -- and he wasn't even leading after 50 meters.

But in the final 30 meters, Cunningham's top end speed was just too much for the field.

He overcame a strong last 50 meters from Florida's Chauncy Smart -- who was third in this race last year -- and a late push from Texas' Jeffrey Hulon to take the Brooks PR crown in 10.53 seconds.

Watch this race to check out all the nuance of Cunningham's victory.
