More than 20 teams and nearly 700 runners will be at East Greenwich this Thursday for the inaugural Avenger Invitational. MileSplit RI will be on site for this statewide meet, which will include freshmen and junior varsity/varsity events.
The meet is slated to begin at 4 p.m. with a Girls' Freshmen 4K race, followed by the Boys' Freshmen 4K at 4:25. A combined Girls' JV/Varsity 5K event will start at 4:50 and the Boys' JV/Varsity 5K will conclude things at 5:20.
