There's a new meet on the slate.
On Thursday, Oct. 13, East Greenwich will be hosting its inaugural Avenger Invitational.The meet, which will consists of Freshmen and Varsity/JV races, will take place on the Avengers' brand new state-of-the-art course. According to their meet application, the FAST layout is on grass, crushed blue stone and natural trails. Schools throughout the state will get a chance to test the new course at the Injury Fund Carnival on Sept. 3. The course will also be the site of the Freshmen State Meet in late October.
The cost for the meet is only $65 per school. Unlimited entries are allowed in the Freshmen races and a maximum of 14 are allowed in the Varsity/JV races.
