National Title For Eagle Thrower

In the No-Surprise Category, Bobby Colantonio made it two in a row for Barrington at New Balance Nationals by capturing the hammer throw. The Eagle senior, who was a runner-up to former teammate Adam Kelly at last year's Nationals, had a heave of 240 feet. Colantonio, the No. 1 ranked thrower also season long, achieved his winning toss on his first attempt. Cumberland's Mike Coppolino also earned All-American status by placing sixth overall with a distance of 207-01. Woonsocket's Jared Briere was seventh at 201-06.
