Who Will Win Boys' X-C Title? VOTE Now!

Despite an injury-plagued season, La Salle's Jack Salisbury finished eighth at last year's state meet. After a stellar indoor and outdoor campaign, can he win his first X-C title?

Just like any other year, this fall's cross-country season appears to be highly-competitive with a number of teams and individuals capable of a top finish at the state championships in early November. MileSplit RI wants to know who you feel will take the individual crown this season for boys? La Salle Academy junior D.J. Principe is the defending champion. Can he repeat last year's magic or will a new champion be crowned?

Below is a list of seven individuals that we feel are capable of making it happen at the states. We have even gone out on a limb and included a promising new freshman, North Kingstown's Sam Toolin, who recently won the national title for 1,500m at the USATF Junior Olympic Championships and has followed a similar path as Principe at the junior high level.
