VOTE For Rhode Island's Boys Track & Field Athlete Of The Year!

Bobby Colantonio was the national leader in the boys hammer throw this spring with a best mark of 243'7" as well as the US Junior National champion in the event.

MileSplit Rhode Island wants to hear from the state's track & field community who they think is deserving of the boys outdoor track & field athlete of the year. Check out the nine below nominees and vote who you believe was the best performer of the season in the state of Rhode Island. Voting ends next Friday, July 31st at 8 PM ET! Jack Salisbury of La Salle Academy ran a state record in the 3200 with a 8:56 performance at the Loucks Games in May. The rising senior also won the 1500 and 800 outdoor state titles for the second straight year along with a 4:06 mile PR at the Prefontaine Classic.
