Cameras will be rolling at Arnold Mills

Just because it's the summertime, doesn't mean we're taking a break.

MileSplit RI will be at the historic Arnold Mills Four-Mile Road Race in Cumberland on Saturday. The 47th annual event will start at 9 a.m. on Nate Whipple Highway, just a short distance from the North Cumberland Fire Department. The race traditionally attracts a number of top high school runners, past and present, so what better race to get our coverage.

For the first time in its long history, the Arnold Mills four-miler will be recorded. We'll be on the press truck with our camcorder, filming the entire race from start to finish. We'll also have our cameras clicking at multiple vantage points along the course.

In last year's event, former Bishop Hendricken star Colin Tierney captured the men's title and ex-Cumberland great and one of the country's top marathoners, Hillary Dionne, was the first woman to cross the line. For story on 2014 race, click here.
