Barrington's Mike Alvernaz was second at New Balance
Adam Kelly appears unstoppable.
The Barrington High senior continued his supremacy in the weight throw this season by once again going over the 80-foot barrier. Kelly latest effort, a toss of 82-5, earned the Eagle standout a first-place medal at the New Balance Games in N.Y,, on Saturday.
Finishing second was teammate Mike Alvernaz, who had a PR of 69-7.5. Barrington's Jamie Heinl was sixth at 55-7.75.
