Performance List
The first major meet of the indoor season takes place on Saturday with the annual RITCA Invitational. Even though the meet is at the beginning of the winter campaign, don't be surprised to see some top, national-level performances inside the Providence Career and Technical Academy field house this weekend.In the 2013 event, La Salle Academy's Eliza Rego ran one of the fastest times in the country at that point of the season when she captured the 1,500-meter run with a 4:46 clocking. Outdoor long jump state champion Annabelle Hauck of Cranston West, an exchange student from Germany, won her specialty with a near 18-foot leap of 17-7.75. The boys' race featured a nation No. 2 from Bishop Hendricken grad Colin Tierney in the 3,000m with his winning effort of 8:47.74.
Once again, MileSplit RI will have LIVE results of the meet. We'll also be there providing video coverage of some of the top races and taking countless photos of all the events.
